Vintage Bedford camper van converted into mobile coffee van
A restored 1970s vintage Bedford Camper van was delivered to us at Coffee Latino. The internals were stripped out, including the toilet! The works to create an internal vend coffee van included:
- making a hatch and colour matching the paint
- gas safe box made for the gas bottle made from stainless steel and colour matched
- insulate and then re-skin the interior with Aluminium and ‘retro look’ polished stainless steel
- custom made cupboard and worksurfaces
- 2 group Fracino duel fuel coffee machine, grinder, fridge, lighting, and all ancillary equipment so the van can run for 12+ hours without being connected to mains power
- graphics and window tinting
- electrical repairs
- roof repairs
- new gear know – hand made
The van aptly named ‘Minty’ by owner Rob of Hav Coffee, will be working the Fabulous Northumberland coastline so keep your eyes peeled around the tourist hotspots such as Bamburgh, Holy Island, Amble, Seahouses, Warkworth and Alnwick…
